Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning
Work setting: Staff accommodation available, Hotel, motel, resort, Rural area, Remote location, Relocation costs not covered by employer

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language and should be Bilingual
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge: Word processing software, Central reservation system (CRS), Internet

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a strong focus on client satisfaction and exhibit dependability in their tasks
  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, both in oral and written communication, and demonstrate flexibility in their work approach
  • The candidates should exercise good judgment in their decision-making, be organized in their work methods, and exhibit reliability in fulfilling their responsibilities
  • The candidates should also be a team player

Candidate Status

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • The candidates should able to offer general information about points of interest in the area and assist clients/guests with special needs
  • The candidates should be able to investigate and resolve complaints and claims, process guests’ departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
  • The candidates should be able to balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, while maintaining an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
  • The candidates should be able to emergency and safety procedures, answer telephones, relay telephone calls and messages, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, all while providing excellent customer service
