Transportation information: Valid driver’s license
Work setting: Equipment operation, Marina, Marine works
Supervision: 5-10 people, Staff in various areas of responsibility, Heavy equipment operators, except crane, Labourers
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Type of industry experience: Marine cargo handling company, Marine industry, Industrial/commercial/institutional (ICI) construction
Own tools/equipment: Safety glasses/goggles, Steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Bondable, Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure
- The candidates should be able to work under tight deadlines
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime
- The candidates should be able to work in a noisy area and in the outdoors
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate, client focus, dependable, organized, initiative, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to estimate costs and materials, operate CADD and other computer software systems
- The candidates should be able to prepare production and other reports
- The candidates should be able to recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
- The candidates should be able to coordinate and schedule activities and co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers
- The candidates should be able to ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules
- The candidates should be able to recommend personnel actions and do requisition materials and supplies
- The candidates should be able to resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity, supervise workers and projects and train or arrange for training
