Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Own tools/equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles, and Gloves
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks, handle heavy loads, and be skilled in weight handling, including handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should have attention to detail, manual dexterity, and be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as required
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate in their work, dependable, reliable, and organized
- The candidates should have a client focus, excellent oral communication skills, and demonstrate flexibility
- The candidates should be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to instruct apprentices, troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, and diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required
- The candidates should be able to order parts, maintain inventory, adjust equipment, and repair or replace defective parts
- The candidates should be able to keep maintenance reports and documentation, test repaired equipment for proper performance, and ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications
- The candidates should be able to clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work, service attachments and working tools, and perform repair work on heavy trucks
- The candidates should be able to verify and repair emission control systems and perform other routine maintenance
