Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Credentials: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Nursing Aide Certificate, and Health Care Aide Certificate
Security and safety: Bondable, Criminal record check, Child Abuse Registry check, Immunization records, Vulnerable sector check, and Adult Abuse Registry check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure
- The candidates should be adept at handling repetitive tasks and prepared for the physically demanding nature of the job
- The candidates should possess manual dexterity for performing tasks and demonstrate attention to detail in their work
- The candidates should have the ability to distinguish between colors as needed and exhibit sound discrimination skills
- The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods and with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to perform activities such as bending, crouching, and kneeling, and capable of walking for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities and perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
- The candidates should be able to take patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and serve meal trays and feed patients
- The candidates should be able to make beds and maintain patients’ rooms, and supervise patients’ exercise routines
- The candidates should be able to administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas, and maintain inventory of supplies
- The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and groom patients, and transport patients in a wheelchair or stretcher
- The candidates should be able to answer call signals to determine patients’ needs and collect specimens
- The candidates should be able to perform other duties related to personal care and administer first aid in emergency situation
