The Cove Lakeside Resort is a luxury all-suite resort of the beautiful Okanagan Valley. We are a place where the beauty and solitude of nature is just 15 minutes from the shops and restaurants of downtown Kelowna. Our resort is known for the tranquil waterfront setting and majestic views of Okanagan Lake. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need an experience in either a guest or customer focused environment

- The candidate should have the knowledge of accuracy and accountability

- The candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and also be committed to delivering the highest level of guest service and satisfaction.
- The candidate should have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- The candidate should have excellent organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills and also have the ability to develop and motivate staff to achieve goals.
- The candidate should be proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and also have the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- The candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada and, where applicable, possess a valid work or study permit that allows the candidate to fulfill the requirements of the role.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be responsible for providing our guests with an extraordinary experience from reservation through to checkout
- The candidate should be able to achieve excellence by making business decisions that are focused on upholding the highest standards in guest service
- The candidate should be able to welcome guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner and also check guests in, issue room keys, provide information on Resort facilities and room location.
- The candidate should be able to respond to guests’ questions, complaints, and requests ensuring efficient and personalized guest service and also ensure safety and confidentiality of our owners, guests and employees
- The candidate should be able to create and maintain a positive and productive atmosphere at the front desk; have good working relationships with managers and associates in other departments and also work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
- The candidate should be able to sell, process, and maintain all reservation records using Resort selling strategies and also ensure the work area is clean, neat, and well organized.
- The candidate should be a “sales person” by active promotion of property facilities and company/property specific promotions in order to contribute to overall profitability.
