Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Automated systems experience: Automated irrigation system
Equipment and machinery experience: Farm truck, Loader, Tractor, Combine harvester, Fertilizer applicator, Lift truck, Manure spreader, Planting equipment, and Sprayer or duster
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in other miscellaneous crop farming and be comfortable working outdoors, even in wet, damp, or dusty conditions
- The candidates should be able to work in hot conditions and in noisy surroundings, as well as in cold or refrigerated environments
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, capable of performing repetitive tasks, and working under pressure
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads, meet tight deadlines, and be physically capable of handling demanding tasks
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, be able to stand for extended periods, and bend, crouch, kneel as needed, as well as capable of walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be organized and team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to grade vegetables and fruits into different grades based on size, shape, color, and volume to maximize market value, as well as perform greenhouse cleaning to maintain a healthy environment for plant growth
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure proper growth and yield, and manually remove all suckers and water sprouts from plants to promote healthy growth
- The candidates should be able to conduct weeding activities to control weed growth and maintain crop health, harvest crops efficiently and at the appropriate time to maximize yield, and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operations
