Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be willing and capable of doing some exterior physical labor in varying weather conditions as required
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have the ability to work with minimum supervision in a team environment and also have effective Verbal communication skills.
- The candidate must work with a strong sense of urgency and also having the ability to operate a forklift, skid loader and ten wheeler would be an asset
- The candidate should be willing and capable to work at heights
- The candidate should be able to foster a safe work environment and promote continuous improvement initiatives with regards to workplace safety
- The candidate should be able to work for extended hours during the busy season (Spring and Fall) and also be able to safely work loading and unloading rail cars
- The candidate should be capable of working in dusty environments and also be capable of learning Grading and Cleaning techniques under the directions of the Site supervisor
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to report directly to the Operations Supervisor and also will be responsible for providing support to the operation functions, while always ensuring a safe work environment.
- The candidate should be able to assist in performing preventive maintenance and repairs of all equipment and buildings
