Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, and handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to manage physically demanding work, stand for extended periods, and bend, crouch, and kneel
- The candidates should be able to work overtime as required, and handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean the crops, cut agricultural crops, and divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots
- The candidates should be able to hand harvest vegetables, pick row and orchard crops, and plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to sort fruits and vegetables, weed, and harvest crops
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, and examine products for quality and readiness for the market
