Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a High School diploma
Experience: Candidates should have one year of experience in a commercial food service operation specializing in merchandising, sales, cash systems, and customer service
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere and ability to work effectively under pressure
- The candidates should have the ability to provide quick, efficient, courteous, and tactful service
- The candidates should have the ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stock a variety of merchandise
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to follow all guidelines and established par stocks when ordering, rotating stock, conducting inventory counts, and receiving stock
- The candidates should be able to complete all required documentation, including recording of waste, inventory counts, pre-rush checklists, cash management, and operational audits with the manager
- The candidates should be able to provide efficient service at the kiosk, including required food preparation, beverage duties, and daily cash procedures
- The candidates should be able to comply with and enforce all Algonquin College Food Services and Tim Hortons policies and procedures
- The candidates should be able to ensure all Food Safety procedures and regulations are followed within the kiosk
- The candidates should be able to communicate effectively with the Manager of the location and with team members on day-to-day operations
- The candidates should be able to assist in training new staff, provide guidance, and assign tasks
- The candidates should be able to ensure floors, tables, and chairs are properly cleaned throughout the day to maintain a clean environment
- The candidates should be able to ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas by following all cleaning and maintenance checklists
