Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing tasks efficiently and meeting deadlines
- The candidates should be capable of standing for extended periods during the workday
- The candidates should be able to lift weights of up to 9 kg (20 lbs) as part of their job requirements
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate a strong focus on meeting client needs and ensuring client satisfaction, possess excellent oral communication skills, capable of articulating ideas and information clearly and persuasively to clients, and exhibit flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances and requirements from clients
- The candidates should be organized in managing client requests and maintaining clear communication channels, be reliable, consistently delivering high-quality service to clients, and be team players, collaborating effectively with colleagues to provide comprehensive client support
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, address customers’ complaints or concerns, and prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables
- The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in various forms, describe menu items including daily specials, enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, and advise on menu selections
- The candidates should be able to describe and advise on wine selection, serve food and beverages, take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff, and provide customer service
