Top One Seafood Ltd. has been providing high-quality, sustainably caught seafood to customers across Canada and beyond for the last many years. Our seafood is processed and packed on site using state-of-the-art equipment and techniques, which ensures that the seafood remains fresh and flavorful from the time it is harvested until it reaches the customer’s plate. Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
- The candidates should be able to work in/on water and cold/refrigerated area
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be dependable, organized, initiative, flexible, and judgmental
- The candidates should be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to feed aquaculture stock
- The candidates should be able to operate, maintain and clean pumps, filters and other aquaculture equipment
- The candidates should be able to clean and maintain aquaculture enclosures
- The candidates should be able to transfer stock to tanks in trucks and pack stock in special containers
- The candidates should be able to dig shellfish from shellfish beds
- The candidates should be able to clean, sort and pack shellfish
- The candidates should be able to grade and weigh aquaculture stocks
