Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of experience in providing financial advice to clients and establishing relationships while achieving performance targets

  • The candidates should be a certified professional (Quebec) with current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing, having successfully completed the Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) licensing, along with Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC) certification. It’s an asset if they have completed the CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course – Quebec (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal and Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790)

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to focus on client engagement by connecting on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful and providing tailored advice and solutions in all areas of financial planning, including day-to-day banking, investments, lending, and estate planning
  • The candidates should be able to cultivate their network to establish new client relationships
  • The candidates should be able to deeply understand the local market and potential client base to create sales plans that will convert leads into new clients
  • The candidates should be able to use strong relationship-building and networking skills to create connections, generate opportunities, and deliver bottom-line results
  • The candidates should be able to leverage CIBC’s wide range of credit and investment solutions to provide a needs-based approach that results in satisfied, loyal clients and increased referrals
  • The candidates should be able to heighten CIBC brand awareness in the community by attending local events and participating in marketing and outreach activities
  • The candidates should be able to grow their network to create lasting connections that will generate future opportunities
