Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks and capable of handling heavy loads
- The candidates should be physically fit to meet demanding tasks and able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be effective team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean the crops, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, and fertilize and spray crops
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops, perform general farm duties, and maintain farm machinery, equipment, and buildings
- The candidates should be able to load and unload vehicles, grade products, and clean and maintain equipment, as well as ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
