Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in fruit and vegetable combination farming, as well as in other vegetables and melon farming, excluding potatoes
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and able to work in hot environments, ensuring adaptability to various agricultural conditions
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, capable of handling repetitive tasks efficiently, and managing heavy loads effectively
- The candidates should be physically capable of demanding tasks, comfortable standing for extended periods, and able to perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling, ensuring adaptability to various work conditions
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to apply the technique of hoeing between rows to control weeds and aerate the soil, and hand harvest vegetables with care to avoid damage and ensure quality
- The candidates should be able to divide freshly harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots based on quality standards, and plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to promote healthy growth and maximize yield
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops efficiently and at the appropriate time to ensure peak freshness and quality, ensuring adherence to agricultural best practices throughout the farming process
