Work site environment: Candidates should work in Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots and hay farming
Transportation/travel information: Valid driver’s licence required
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment, work under pressure, maintain tight deadlines, pay attention to detail and also for large workload
- The candidate should be physically strong and also a combination of sitting, standing, walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in an organized way and also a team player
- The candidate should be able to supervise 3-4 people
- The candidate should have experience of equipment and machinery like Automated irrigation system, Automated manure handling or storage system, Feeding and watering system, Harvesters, Tractor and also Haying equipment
- The candidate should have specialization on agricultural livestock service, agricultural crop service and also beef cattle
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to perform general farm duties, recognize and treat certain livestock health problems, supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations and also operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidate should be able to feed inventory, handling animals and also monitoring animal health
- The candidate should be able to maintain livestock performance records, maintain quality control and production records and also maintain work records and logs
- The candidate should be able to provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
