Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, and organized
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, and excellent written communication
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare estimates of labor and/or material costs
- The candidates should be able to prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
- The candidates should be able to estimate pre-contract costs
- The candidates should be able to advise on tendering procedures
- The candidates should be able to monitor and adjust contract expenditures
- The candidates should be able to prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors
- The candidates should be able to liaise, consult, and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
