Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and early childhood education and teaching
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Food allergy and anaphylaxis training, First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Vulnerable sector check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be a repetitive taskers
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be punctual, dependable, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should have values and ethics, interpersonal awareness, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
- The candidates should be able to observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor
- The candidates should be able to discuss the progress and problems of children at staff meetings
- The candidates should be able to plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
- The candidates should be able to tend to the emotional well-being of children
- The candidates should be able to participate in staff meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops
- The candidates should be able to ensure compliance with government regulations
