Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a College/CEGEP degree or equivalent qualification
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Child development supervisor (ECE level 3), First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of performing repetitive tasks and comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to perform tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability in their work and possess efficient interpersonal skills, exhibiting excellent oral and written communication
- The candidates should be reliable in meeting deadlines and commitments, recognized as effective team players, and uphold strong values and ethics
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, leading activities and providing opportunities for creativity
- The candidates should be able to guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems, and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
- The candidates should have knowledge of licensing regulations, establish guidelines for behavior, assess the abilities, interests, and needs of children, discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members, and establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
- The candidates should be able to plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
