Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to lead internal feasibility assessments and business case development to support the business’ commercialization plans and able to define network capability (capacity/technology) and associated capital requirements for developing such capability
- The candidates should be able to identify the impact across the supply chain with regard to cost of goods sold, including route to market, capacity utilization, manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety and able to lead the commercialization effort for select projects, platform innovation programs, or significant capital-related initiatives
- The candidates should be able to ensure effective team engagement, including establishing and managing team meetings, reviewing project timelines and costs regularly, and facilitating the creation of mitigation/contingency plans
- The candidates should be able to lead technical and supply chain readiness to support commercialization activity, including preparing manufacturing facilities for successful start-ups and able to partner with External Manufacturing managers and procurement to deliver commercialization activities outside of current capabilities and drive cost reduction in external manufacturing networks
- The candidates should be able to assess capacity needs for new business initiatives and growth plans across the product life cycle and recommend solutions to optimize throughput while maximizing margin
- The candidates should be able to provide updates to leadership, project sponsors, and stakeholders on key initiatives, including progress against deliverables, cost management, next steps, and needs from sponsors to alleviate hurdles
- The candidates should be able to lead internal feasibility assessments with Quality and Research and Development to ensure proper procedures and processes are followed before initiating new business initiatives, growth plans, or major capital improvement projects
- The candidates should be able to manage and deliver assigned financial targets, including the delivery of capital projects, trial activity, and start-up expenses while leading resource and funding prioritization
- The candidates should be able to drive the development of cost of goods sold (COGS) and ensure alignment between category teams and operations, as well as support the productivity agenda to deliver cost reduction targets
- The candidates should be able to support Business and Manufacturing Systems initiatives as required and contribute to the continuous improvement of the commercialization process through collaboration with key stakeholders and sharing best practices
- The candidates should be able to lead and/or participate in various stakeholder governance forums, such as Stage gate/Leadership teams and able to manage and develop the growth and innovation pipeline requests in collaboration with marketing/sales, ensuring that proper financial and capability hurdles are met
