Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Student status: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, Full time enrollment
Credentials: Counsellor aptitude training (DAFA), CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in outdoors
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be dependable, initiative, judgmental, and organized, be able to work as a team player, and should have interpersonal awareness
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs
- The candidates should be able to schedule activities, keep logs, maintain records and prepare reports
- The candidates should be able to ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- The candidates should be able to monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required
