Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to shift/slide/move packages from a conveyor belt to their work desk and then push shipments back to the conveyance system
- The candidates should be able to work in a warehouse environment, being okay with standing and moving packages as needed
- The candidates should be able to safely lift packages up to 70lbs unassisted
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills
- The candidates should have an accurate typing speed of 40+ words per minute
- The candidates should exhibit the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- The candidates should have availability to work flexible shift hours
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to audit premium air shipments tendered to UPS, ensuring the accuracy of the information on the UPS database and making corrections where appropriate
- The candidates should be able to ensure shipments meet export and import country compliance processes
- The candidates should be able to work as clerks in the warehouse, auditing packages to ensure internal/external regulatory compliance
- The candidates should be able to key in data accurately within time-specific deadlines into UPS systems
- The candidates should be able to check and forward legal documentation
- The candidates should be able to use smartphone technology to capture and edit JPEG files
- The candidates should be able to provide administrative support to the Management team
