Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of meeting physically demanding tasks and able to handle heavy loads effectively
- The candidates should also be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as required for the role
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
- The candidates should be able to use maps and other trip planning aids to navigate efficiently
- The candidates should be able to record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered during the trip
- The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper maintenance
