Transportation information: Own transportation, own vehicle, willing to travel regularly, valid driver’s licence, and public transportation is not available
Work setting: Rural area, Willing to relocate, Convenience store, Department store, Retail business
Supervision: 1 to 2 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Computer and technology knowledge: Point of sale system, Word processing software, Electronic mail, and Spreadsheet

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate attention to detail in their tasks
  • The candidates should be adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking during work shifts

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to manage staff, assign duties, and determine staffing requirements
  • The candidates should be able to study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the effect of competitors’ operations on sales, and determine merchandise and services to be sold
  • The candidates should be able to implement price and credit policies, locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, and develop and implement marketing strategies
  • The candidates should be able to plan budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
  • The candidates should be able to plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
