Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, cellular phone, and safety vest
Security and safety: Criminal record check and drug test
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and adept at performing repetitive tasks efficiently
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and demonstrate attention to detail
- The candidates should possess good hand-eye coordination and be willing to work overtime as required
- The candidates should be able to discriminate sounds effectively and handle weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials efficiently, operate mobile and tower cranes with precision, and clean and lubricate cranes properly
- The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required and instruct apprentices effectively
- The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt accurately and assist the medical examiner in charge when necessary
- The candidates should be able to assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites safely and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs proficiently
- The candidates should be able to level earth to fine grade specifications, assist in demolishing buildings when required, and clean and pile salvaged materials properly
- The candidates should be able to perform pre-operational inspections, calculate crane capacities and weights accurately, and perform routine maintenance work diligently
- The candidates should be able to clean up chemical spills and other contaminants effectively, remove rubble and other debris at construction sites promptly, and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction as necessary
- The candidates should be able to direct traffic at or near construction sites safely
