Salary: $37.50 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to prepare estimates of labor and/or material costs accurately, including master format estimates (Class A) following industry standards
  • The candidates should be able to prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads comprehensively, along with providing economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects
  • The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications proficiently, and utilize quantity take-off procedures effectively
  • The candidates should be able to project cash flow and financing requirements for construction projects, estimate pre-contract costs with precision, and advise on tendering procedures while providing guidance
  • The candidates should be able to analyze tenders, recommend awards based on thorough evaluation, and set up cost monitoring and reporting systems for project management
  • The candidates should be able to monitor and adjust contract expenditures as necessary, prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors accurately, and liaise, consult, and communicate effectively with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors regarding changes and adjustments to cost estimates
