Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to register arriving guests and assign rooms, process group arrivals and departures, and take, cancel, and change room reservations
- The candidates should be able to provide information on hotel facilities and services, provide general information about points of interest in the area, and process guests’ departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
- The candidates should be able to balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, and follow emergency and safety procedures
- The candidates should be able to perform clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying), answer telephone calls and relay messages, assist clients/guests with special needs, and provide customer service
