Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of an Aircraft Maintenance Technology Diploma and an M2 certification
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 1 to 3 years experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be available to work both day and evening shifts

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be meticulous in their work to ensure flight safety, understanding that the slightest error can have serious consequences
  • The candidates should adhere to maintenance procedures and aviation regulations, being aware of applicable standards and ensuring compliance
  • The candidates should work collaboratively with other technicians, engineers, and crew members to solve problems quickly and efficiently
  • The candidates should communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to avoid ambiguity and ensure operational safety
  • The candidates should be adaptable to changes, as aviation is a constantly evolving field with new technologies and regulations
  • The candidates should demonstrate exemplary professional ethics, adhering to ethical standards and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information
  • The candidates should hold a valid driver’s license and proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
  • The candidates should be proficient in French, both oral and written, and have a good knowledge of English, both oral and written, to read procedures effectively

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to perform maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of aircraft
  • The candidates should be able to inspect, repair, and replace faulty or damaged components using tools, manuals, gauges, and testing equipment
  • The candidates should be able to write technical reports detailing maintenance and repairs
  • The candidates should be able to verify the structural and mechanical systems of aircraft to ensure compliance with Transport Canada and company safety standards
  • The candidates should be able to travel across Canada and occasionally to other countries
