Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate cash registers, scan items, and receive payment for goods or services
- The candidates should be able to calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales, stock shelves and clean counter areas, and greet customers
- The candidates should be able to wrap or place merchandise in bags, provide customer service, and monitor all entrances and exits and request proof of payment when necessary
- The candidates should be able to verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products
