Supervision: 1 to 2 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register, Point of sale system
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods as required by the job
- The candidates should be capable of handling loads up to 9 kg (20 lbs) as part of their duties
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize client satisfaction and demonstrate a strong focus on meeting client needs, possess efficient interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues, and exhibit excellent oral communication skills, effectively conveying information and ideas
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances and requirements, take initiative in identifying and addressing challenges proactively, and be organized, able to manage tasks and resources efficiently
- The candidates should be reliable, consistently fulfilling their responsibilities and commitments, and be team players, collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, present bills to customers and accept payment in various forms, describe menu items including daily specials, and advise on menu selections
- The candidates should be able to balance cash and record sales, clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, describe and advise on wine selection, greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, and take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
