Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop, implement, and manage projects aimed at improving business processes related to the development, maintenance, access, and use of databases and reporting systems, such as document management, work program management, scheduling and estimating systems
- The candidates should be able to develop and introduce new or modified processes or systems, collaborating with various groups to solve controversial problems regarding different requirements and ensuring cooperation and agreement for implementation
- The candidates should be able to identify and document business requirements for information systems and processes, facilitating proposals from internal and external parties to support and meet user
- The candidates should be able to provide training and ongoing user support and ensure the efficient daily operation of systems, including necessary software maintenance. They should also coordinate all software changes and upgrades, as well as user testing and training
- The candidates should be able to responsible for data integrity and validation associated with databases, including issue identification and resolution, and manage projects requiring support from service groups outside the department. They should also work with staff to develop, populate and maintain databases for consistent data use across Operations
- The candidates should be able to take a lead role in developing and producing database system guidelines, recommending changes to meet business needs, and ensuring policies are accepted and followed by field and head office staff. They should initiate and prepare revisions
- The candidates should be able to work with vendors, manufacturers, or suppliers to address failures or inadequacies of their products or services and ensure compliance with operating requirements. They should also coordinate testing, development and supply of special component
