Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
Experience: Candidates should have related mechanical/electrical experience are definite assets
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit strong interpersonal skills and effective written and verbal communication skills
- The candidates should be willing to be trained on fork trucks, as operating a fork truck (once trained) is required for this position
- The candidates should be willing to work 12-hour rapid rotating shifts
- The candidates must hold a valid G2 or higher Ontario Driver’s License
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to learn how to operate, adjust, changeover, and maintain high-speed equipment on a rotating shift schedule
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to solve complex problems, and analyze data using information technology systems
- The candidates should be able to work well individually and as part of a self-directed work team handling multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment
