Shifts: Day, Morning, 08:00 to 16:00
Work setting: Bakery, food and beverage plant and meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment
Work site environment: Candidates should work in dusty area
Transportation/travel information: Own transportation required and public transportation is available
Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Candidates must have Food Safety Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work under pressure, in fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, manually dexter, pay attention to detail, handle heavy loads and also stand for extended periods
- The candidate should be physically strong and also have hand-eye co-ordination
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment
- The candidate should be reliable and also reliable
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able for food safety/handling skills
- The candidate should be able to measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines and also clean machines and immediate work areas
- The candidate should be able to manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, check products and packaging for basic quality defects and also operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
- The candidate should be able to provide customer service
