Requirements:

  • The candidates should have completed the Branch Compliance Officer (BCO) course and completed the IFIC or CSC certification

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to lead, coach, and proactively model exceptional service at every customer interaction in the lobby, on the frontline, and in the service and advice offices and maintain optimal colleague scheduling to ensure customer demands and compliance requirements are met and coach advisory colleagues on effective customer complaint resolution and assist with maintaining a professional and inviting space in all common areas of the branch, adhering to premises, marketing, and regulatory guidelines, ensuring that service and advice offices meet internal/external policies and regulatory requirements
  • The candidates should be able to support the execution of the branch LEI plan or objectives and assist with the execution of the branch advice plan or objectives and coach the advisory team on advice-giving strategies and overall product and service acumen and coach on advice delivery to improve the customer experience and overall profitability of the bank and consistent banking presence in the market approach across One TD partners
  • The candidates should be able to work collaboratively with TD Partners to ensure all Branch Banking customers are serviced in the channel best suited to their and take ownership or oversight of complex daily branch administrative duties, especially as they relate to investments and unsecured credit compliance
  • The candidates should be able to manage the advice team, promoting a positive customer and colleague experience and develop a team of advice colleagues, provide coaching on delivering effective customer service, product advice conversations, and support service and advice strategies and tactics to improve the overall customer experience and ensure customer issues are handled appropriately through customer problem resolution guidelines and personally participate in the negotiation and resolution when necessary; empower the advice team to take ownership and assist the frontline team
  • The candidates should be able to contribute to the execution and achievement of the team and branch’s customer experience targets by coaching and modeling appropriate attributes and behaviors and ensure the customer area is professional and inviting in appearance, particularly as it relates to the service offices and advisory spaces and support a high-performing team, providing ongoing feedback and performance reviews, coaching and developing colleagues, and ensuring performance management activities are undertaken and completed for all colleagues
  • The candidates should be able to contribute to the process of setting performance objectives for the team, track, monitor, and effectively address and reward performance in a timely manner and ensure colleagues are in compliance with all TDBFG policies, procedures, and guidelines of conduct regarding customer interactions, products, and services and manage colleagues in compliance with all policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • The candidates should be able to share knowledge, information, skills, and subject matter expertise among the team and ensure the timely communication of issues, encouraging good working relationships with other functions and teams and support an environment where the team freely escalates business challenges and facilitate change through positive reinforcement of milestones and successes
  • The candidates should be able to participate in the recruitment and selection process for all hires to ensure a highly diverse, qualified workforce that achieves business objectives and promote a fair and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce and encourage the team to achieve common goals and objectives
  • The candidates should be able to act as a brand champion for the business area/function and the bank, both internally and externally and manage a small team of service and advice professionals and lead the team in completing day-to-day processes, transactions, service, and advice activities involving multiple steps, systems, and jurisdictions and demonstrate advanced skills and expertise in a range of products and services, processes, procedures, and systems, where transactions could be characterized by moderate risk and intermediate process management knowledge and maintain a solid understanding of the business and operational function areas supported
  • The candidates should be able to closely monitor workflows, prioritize tasks, delegate duties and responsibilities, and maintain a short to medium-term work focus and plan, organize, and coordinate activities for their own area and resolve operational issues and manage the team, requiring workforce decisions on acceptable levels of risk—low to moderate risk potential (loss or reputational) and make decisions on moderately complex, non-standard issues or exceptions and handle day-to-day issues and determine the most appropriate course of action for resolution and report generally to the Branch Manager
