Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to take a lead role in ensuring that content is produced to meet audience needs for each platform
- The candidates should be able to take a lead role in vetting content to ensure it meets editorial standards
- The candidates should be able to write and edit stories for newscasts and digital platforms
- The candidates should be able to assign news stories as needed
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with editorial, digital, and operations teams in Edmonton and markets across Canada to ensure all content is produced and posted for each platform
- The candidates should be able to support and communicate effectively with field teams
- The candidates should be able to contribute to and help generate story ideas and pitches
- The candidates should be able to complete and vet all production elements needed for air, including scripts, fonts, graphics, outcues, etc.
