Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines consistently
  • The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail in their work and perform repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to multitask effectively, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and have good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • The candidates should be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues, and quick learners, able to grasp new concepts and skills rapidly

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events effectively, as well as record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences accurately
  • The candidates should be able to determine and establish office procedures and routines to enhance efficiency, schedule and confirm appointments promptly and professionally, and answer telephone calls and relay messages in a courteous manner
  • The candidates should be able to respond to electronic inquiries promptly and accurately, compile data, statistics, and other information efficiently, and order office supplies while maintaining inventory levels appropriately
  • The candidates should be able to greet people warmly and direct them to contacts or service areas as needed, open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material, and type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents accurately
