Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of DEP in office automation
Experience: Candidates should have 4 years of experience in a similar position

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be recognized for their analytical mind, rigor, and teamwork
  • The candidates should have an excellent sense of responsibility and respect for deadline

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a DEC in administration, accounting, or finance
  • The candidates should have knowledge of office tools, especially Excel spreadsheets and of the SAP system
  • The candidates should be fluent in English and French (spoken and written), as this position requires communication with unilingual English-speaking customers and suppliers, and collaboration with factories in the United States and Ontario on a regular basis

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to create and maintain supplier master data and ensure the use of applicable payment discounts
  • The candidate should be able to ensure the correct accounting of amounts in the general ledger accounts
  • The candidate should be able to verify invoices, ensuring the accuracy of prices charged, the correct application of sales taxes, and that payment authorization has been obtained
  • The candidate should be able to issue checks or prepare bank transfer requests and follow up on payment approval to ensure they reach suppliers within the required time frame
  • The candidate should be able to ensure adequate and timely filing of invoices and other documents related to accounts payable in our computerized system
  • The candidate should be able to respond to any other requests for information or processing related to accounts payable
