Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of 3-year diploma or degree in Business Administration, Communications and Project Management
Experience: Candidates should have 5 years of related experience in an administrative or project management role

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have preferably in a post-secondary environment and be familiar with college systems

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to research, plan, coordinate, and execute day-to-day operational processes within the portfolio of the AD, focusing on workload planning
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate and administer human resource activities for their portfolio or cluster, including workload assignments for full-time and contract faculty and staff, both teaching and non-teaching and orient new employees
  • The candidates should be able to manage and analyze the accuracy and integrity of workload data using multiple college systems (DCU, SAL, and PeopleSoft) and planning documents and analyze detailed scheduling data to optimize resources for students, faculty, and space
  • The candidates should be able to identify faculty and staff workload, scheduling, and accommodation issues that may contravene Collective Agreements and work with the AD and stakeholders to resolve these issues and respond to and resolve issues as appropriate
  • The candidates should be able to act as the first point of contact for internal and external inquiries to the AD
  • The candidates should be able to collect, review, and analyze data relevant to the financial performance of the portfolio and assist in monitoring the Faculty budget, including special projects
  • The candidates should be able to plan various short and long-term academic projects, industry projects, and special projects
