Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors
- The candidates should be able to work in or on water
- The candidates should be able to work in wet/damp conditions
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty environments
- The candidates should be able to work in hot conditions
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to mix fertilizer, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, weed crops, and fertilize and spray crops
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to examine produce for quality and prepare for the market
- The candidates should be able to set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
