JOB TITLE: PROGRAM WORKER | #1521
SERVICE AREA: Residential Services
LOCATION: Vancouver and Richmond
START DATE: As early as April 25, 2022 (ending September 3, 2022)
TERM/STATUS: Temporary Part Time
SCHEDULE/HRS: TBA
HOURLY WAGE: $18.00
THE ROLE:
These positions involve recreational programming, instruction, and assisting with activities of daily living. It involves representing the Association by participating in community events. These positions are subject to funding by Canada Summer Jobs.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
• Post-secondary education or training in a related field (Physical Education, Kinesiology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Therapeutic Recreation)
• Must be between ages of 19-30 at intake time, legally entitled to work in Canada
• Working knowledge or experience with people in the area of recreation.
• Minimum one year direct experience with people with developmental disabilities.
Standard requirements of the Program Worker include:
• Criminal Record Clearance
• Medical Clearance
• Valid First Aid/CPR
• Demonstrated competency in English
• Basic computer literacy
• Eligible to work in Canada
