Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Elderly
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be physically capable of handling demanding tasks
- The candidates should be comfortable sitting for extended periods and standing for extended periods
- The candidates should be comfortable walking as part of their duties
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual in their work attendance and focused on client needs
- The candidates should exhibit dependability in fulfilling job responsibilities and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills and show flexibility in their approach to tasks
- The candidates should demonstrate initiative in their work and be organized in their tasks
- The candidates should be reliable in meeting work commitments

- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, including assisting with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- The candidates should be able to administer medications, change non-sterile dressings, and assist in regular exercise, e.g., walking
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the householder, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and mend clothing and linens
- The candidates should be able to assist clients in water (i.e., pool), feed or assist in feeding, and provide companionship
- The candidates should be able to provide personal care, including preparing and serving nutritious meals
