Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to lift 50lbs above their shoulders
- The candidates should have the ability to reach items located on top shelves
- The candidates should have the ability to use the following tools: Dead Blow non-marring faced mallet, Pry bar, Angle reading smartphone AP, Hand truck for moving shelving equipment
- The candidates should have a location available to park a small truck or van overnight
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be dynamic, motivated, self-starters with a passion for winning
- The candidates should enjoy being on the road and working collaboratively
- The candidates should find satisfaction in physical labor and working with their hands
- The candidates should be individuals who take pride in completing tasks well
- The candidates should be aware that the estimated duration of the project is approximately 3 months and it could be the perfect summer employment for students
- The candidates should recognize that there is some potential for continued employment beyond the scope of this project
- The candidates should understand that a full commitment to completing the project is essential
- The candidates should have a valid Driver’s License with no offenses in the past 3 years
- The candidates should have the ability to travel with some overnight stays
- The candidates should have previous experience in similar type installations
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to work in teams of 2-3 individuals
- The candidates should be able to load a transport vehicle (small truck or van) with necessary parts for work day(s) from the warehouse
- The candidates should be able to drive to retail locations located throughout Ontario
- The candidates should be able to move new shelf fixture accessory equipment into the store
- The candidates should be able to remove consumer products and old shelf fixture accessories if any
- The candidates should be able to change the position of multiple 8’ steel warehouse-style beams
- The candidates should be able to install new fixture accessories
- The candidates should be able to restock consumer products
- The candidates should be able to ensure the retail environment is pristine
