Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualification such as a high school or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate must be able to lift loads up to 22 kilos (49 pounds) and carry them over short distances also have the ability to stretch to fit equipment and devices while maintaining balance

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to obtain and maintain an active Reliability Status security clearance with the Government of Canada
  • The candidate should have more than one year of experience in shipping and receiving, inventory and warehousing also have more than one year of experience in inventory tracking and data analysis
  • The candidate should have a driver’s license also be able to provide after-hours support as needed (overtime)
  • The candidate should have more than one year of experience in inventory management also have more than one year of experience in computer hardware
  • The candidate should have the knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Intermodal Services (IMS)

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to verify data center inventory, incoming deliveries and requests to ensure inventory is maintained at appropriate levels to support construction and repair activities at all facilities
  • The candidate should be responsible for developing plans to optimize the movement of parts throughout the inventory and asset life cycle, tracking location, movements, age and inventory turnover also be able to work closely with technicians and engineers in the data center to deliver spare parts quickly and error-free
  • The candidate should be able to work with the procurement and hardware engineering departments to purchase and receive new parts and interfaces directly from vendors, then handles Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and receives replacement parts
  • The candidate should be able to make regular and ongoing communication with suppliers to resolve issues and help them understand our business requirements requires a high level communicator also be able to perform manual tasks, such as assembling, addressing, stamping, and arranging shipment of goods and materials
  • The candidate may also participate in the daily planning of deliveries and collections to or from production sites
  • The candidate should be able to review Data Center inventory, in-bound shipments, and ongoing demand to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained in the all locations to support build and repair activities
  • The candidate should be able to work with the Data Center inventory, in-bound shipments, and ongoing demand to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained in the all locations to support build and repair activities also be able to work with the Logistics Manager, they create plans to optimize the flow of parts through their life cycle; tracking inventory location, movement, age, and turns
  • The candidate should be able to work closely Data Center Operations Technicians and Data Center Engineers to fulfill parts quickly and accurately also be able to work with Procurement and Hardware Engineering to purchase new parts and interface directly with vendors to process RMAs and receive replacements
  • The candidate should be able to handle incoming shipments, he or she may have to unpack boxes and verify contents.
  • The candidate should be able to interact with other Amazon entities globally as well as with employees and stakeholders in other Canadian provinces, knowledge of French and English is required to this post
