Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Adult Abuse Registry check, and Vulnerable sector check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling, and capable of handling a combination of sitting, standing, and walking as required by the job
- The candidates should be capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, efficiently managing tasks, and willing to work overtime when necessary to meet project deadlines
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and walk as needed for the role, handle loads up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) as part of their job responsibilities, and adhere to the company’s policy of being non-smokers

- The candidates should demonstrate punctuality, consistently arriving on time for work and appointments
- The candidates should prioritize client satisfaction, focusing on meeting client needs and fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, including assisting clients with bathing, personal hygiene, and feeding, as well as providing personal care and performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to administer medications, change non-sterile dressings, collect specimens, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
- The candidates should be able to assist clients in regular exercise such as walking, launder clothing and household linens, and provide personal care as needed
