Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, Flexible Hours, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should exhibit excellent oral communication skills, effectively conveying ideas and information to others, and demonstrate flexibility, adapting to changing circumstances and tasks as needed
  • The candidates should be organized, managing tasks and priorities efficiently to meet deadlines and goals, and be reliable, consistently fulfilling responsibilities and commitments
  • The candidates should be team players, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common objectives, and be hardworking, dedicated to delivering high-quality results and putting in the effort required to succeed
  • The candidates should possess patience, maintaining composure and understanding in challenging situations

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to drive as part of a two-person team or convoy and drive lighter, special-purpose trucks
  • The candidates should be able to oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform brake adjustments
  • The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle, and receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • The candidates should be able to record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
