Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and shop for food and household supplies
- The candidates should be able to travel with the family on trips, assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, and bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
- The candidates should be able to care for foster children, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, and keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
- The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and prepare infants and children for rest periods
- The candidates should be able to sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and change diapers for infants, supervise and care for children, take children to and from school and appointments, tend to the emotional well-being of children, and help children with homework
