Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Dutch, Spanish
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Area of specialization: Children
Credentials: Behaviour management Certification, Emergency child care first aid and CPR, CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Child Abuse Registry check, Child welfare check, Criminal record check, Driver’s validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract), Drug test, Medical exam, Reference required, Basic security clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a non-smoking environment, adhering to established policies and regulations
  • The candidates should be able to work in a scent-free environment, respecting the preferences and sensitivities of others
  • The candidates should be willing to work overtime as required and be physically capable of handling demanding tasks
  • The candidates should be accustomed to performing repetitive tasks and able to work efficiently under pressure
  • The candidates should have a keen attention to detail and experience with weight handling, up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

  • The candidates should be able to wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, managing laundry responsibilities
  • The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, meeting their basic care needs
  • The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, maintaining consistency in parenting approaches
  • The candidates should be able to instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, fostering their growth and well-being
  • The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, ensuring comprehensive documentation
  • The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, prioritizing the welfare of the children
  • The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, providing opportunities for recreation and learning
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary preferences and requirements
  • The candidates should be able to prepare infants and children for rest periods, ensuring proper sleep routines
  • The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being
  • The candidates should be able to take children to and from school and to appointments, managing transportation responsibilities
