Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Emergency First Aid or CPR B certification
Experience: Candidates should have experience in cash handling

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have WHMIS certification
  • The candidates should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills for working in a multi-tasking customer service environment
  • The candidates should have computer experience in Outlook, Word, Excel and Registration software
  • The candidates should have previous experience and the ability to perform physical work in a variety of climatic conditions

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide up-to-date information on customer inquiries both over the phone and in person at the front desk, ensuring a professional and friendly manner at all times
  • The candidates should be able to follow and adhere to all Divisional Cash Handling policies or procedures, including building-site-specific procedures and inventory controls and prepare the end of shift or day Daily Facility Reports items
  • The candidates should be able to ensure a clean environment at all times by performing cleaning duties such as mopping, sweeping, trash collection, and disinfecting and educate on facility rules or by-laws, troubleshoot with customers, ensuring adherence to City rules and regulations
  • The candidates should be able to assist with set up and tear downs for programs and rentals and assist with heavy cleaning such as stripping and waxing floors
  • The candidates should be able to complete painting and special projects as identified by full-time staff and ensure a safe environment at all times by clearing snow, enforcing rules, performing safety checks, and reporting any safety concerns
  • The candidates should be able to handle Opening and Closing procedures for the facility and check functions in the facility and report any issues to the full-time operations staff
  • The candidates should be able to conduct Building Inspections (Entrance logs, Weekly Fire Inspections, AED inspections, First aid kit inspections, Emergency Systems inspections (Generator))
  • The candidates should be able to monitor and submit service requests (FPM) and notify superiors and assist with Workplace inspections (JHSC) and QMS monthly inspections
  • The candidates should be able to serve as a liaison with various internal or external stakeholders and print ACTIVE net (internal software) for external rentals and perform operational troubleshooting (reset electrical breakers, AV troubleshoot and BAS controls)
