Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual Language
Asset languages: Japanese
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Area of specialization: Pre-school education
Credentials: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check and immunization records
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, as well as plan and maintain an environment that protects their health, security, and well-being
- The candidates should be able to supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers, and lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
- The candidates should be able to encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity, and engage them in activities by preparing crafts and storytelling
- The candidates should be able to guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, and observe them for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems, preparing reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
- The candidates should be able to submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors, discuss progress and problems at staff meetings, and attend staff meetings to review these issues
