Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and Business
Experience: Candidates should have four years of experience in the relevant field

- The candidates should have the ability to meet deadlines and handle challenging situations with poise and willing to occasionally travel
- The candidates should have a solid network of community resources to support clients effectively and thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to balance competing priorities
- The candidates should be prepared to work primarily in an office environment, spending substantial time at a computer

- The candidates should be capable of navigating time pressures and managing a diverse caseload

- The candidates should have completed a related field, combined with a genuine passion for making a difference
- The candidates should excel in interviewing techniques and communication (both written and verbal) and possess strong planning, organizational, and crisis intervention abilities
- The candidates should have familiarity with workshop facilitation, job development, job search services, intakes, and assessments
- The candidates should understand budgetary and case management concepts and demonstrate initiative and sound judgment
- The candidates should have a client service focus and an awareness of how factors like culture, socioeconomic status, gender, age, and sexual orientation influence client experiences
- The candidates should consider fluency in multiple languages a significant asset, enhancing their ability to connect with and support a diverse client base
- The candidates should have experience with Employment Support and Income Assistance (ESIA) policies and legislation, and Occupational Health and Safety responsibilities as additional
- The candidates should be prepared to have their qualifications and competencies assessed using tools such as written examinations, standardized tests, oral presentations, interviews, and reference checks
- The candidates should be aware that equivalent combinations of training, education, and experience are recognized, including a completed related 2-year diploma along with two (2) years of related experience
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to conduct employability assessments, counseling, and case management
- The candidates should be able to facilitate workshops, provide job development and job search services, and make referrals
- The candidates should be able to handle intakes, conduct assessments, and maintain records
- The candidates should be able to manage general and specialized cases, provide consultation, and communicate outcomes to applicants
- The candidates should be able to refer individuals to appropriate programs and community resources
