Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages and prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables
- The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers cheques, or room billings
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items including daily specials for customers and advise on menu selections
- The candidates should be able to describe and advise on wine selection, greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware, and perform sensory evaluation of wines
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, and take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service
